Yeah, what a great giveaway! I would choose Purple Haze, Greenlake and Angel as I will soon be leaving Seattle and I think these contain the essence of Seattle ... Purple Haze represents Seattle's hippy Hendrix scene, Greenlake is my all-time favorite walking spot (and the color is bright green - Seattle thru and thru) and Angel because the close friends I've made here are my guardian angels in life. :-)

Wow what a fun give away! Regardless who wins I love these and definitely have to get some for my patio! I think if I were to pick right off the back I'd pick:

angel, lollypop & dune

those three remind me of our wedding & would go great next to our wedding photo album (which is purple) :)

This is a very cool giveaway. I love giving glassy babies as gifts for people I care about. The three I would choose are creamsicle, jane's caramel and hide and seek. There is something about the earthtone glassy babies that give of a great glow and warm up the room they are in. Hope you guys are doing amazing.

What a great promotion. These are beautiful, thanks for turning me on to Glassybaby. So rich - and wow what depth of colors.
Making a single choice or choosing a trio is difficult, they are all so beautiful.
To choose one would be hide and seek as it reminds me of the desert and the ocean all wrapped into one.

Good luck to all!

I love Glassy Baby and have one at my desk onthe windowsill.
I looked for colors to represent my daughter, husband and myslf that work together-- I did not intend for them to be patriotic- by alas they are- for my husband- the deep Midnight blue, strong and sure, for daughter Snow, innocence and after last winter- a snow bunny she is and for me, Fireball. Red has strength and perserverance!!
Best wishes for all! Lovely site!!

This is such an awesome give away. I adore Glassybaby and I am excited I have found your beautiful blog. The minute I saw the new Glassybaby Calypso I been in love. The John Denver song of the same name has long been my favorite. I would pick the glassybabys:
Deep Sea, Calypso, and Beach

To invoke the freedom of that song and the feeling of the ocean.

I love glassybaby and so do my two best friends which happen to be my daughters! I would pick three to match my favorite painting that hangs in my kitchen. It is full of bright flowers and cheers me up on gloomy days. So: Poppy, Happiness, and Navel I think would match just perfect. This is just so much fun, thanks!

Also, good luck to my mom, Susan and sister, Candi!

I would choose...
Seaglass, ankle deep and spring green.

These three would be a beautiful reminder of the unique pacific northwest. Lush greenery, beautiful water and seaglass and wonderful dirt to hike on.

How fun! Though I want them all, I guess I am a blue girl. My favorite trio would be ocean, dolphin, and big sky.

Ohhhh...what to choose, what to choose! I love Glassybaby! Love to give them, love to get them. My young children, 7, 7, and 4 even appreciate them. With an ever-growing collection, I still have a hard time deciding. For today, I would have to say Beach (which represents our annual trip to San Diego living it up at Del Mar), Sapphire (because that is one of my favorite gems), and Truffle (because I have no greater food passion than fabulous chocolate).
Thank you for this opportunity!

I love the "Change Can Happen" trio, for so many reasons! The colors are perfect for summer and can be used throughout the year in various arrangements. The translucent vessels offer a bright, clean light. The glassybaby vessels are such high quality that I'll have my inauguration momentos for years! Best of all, money is going towards our brave veterans, and I think that's just wonderful!

We have one glassybaby in our bathroom, and I visited their studio/store was in the Green Lake area. My favorites are pearl (2)and hydrangea.

This is a great giveaway.

I would choose gratitude, groovy and big sky. Thanks!

Such a fun contest! As candles are often needed to elevate one's spirits (especially if one is feeling like an unmade bed or a tired dishrag by the end of the day)I think Zoe, Gem and Duck Egg would make a classy trio.

Love this giveaway! I would pick Lollypop, Shadow 54, and Saphire. These 3 all remind me of brightly colored jewels. I love the strong bright colors and think they will look great with a candle shining through! Unfortunately I cant afford any real brightly colored jewels!

Mars, Jane's Caramel and Hide and Seek: would look lovely in the middle of my dining room table!

It is difficult for me to choose colors because I am one of those rare color-blind females. That is why I love the names so much. We have several glassybabies now, which have been purchased to commemorate remodeling a room or buying a new house, or just getting a perfect color at the annual 2nds sale.

We have a 2nds Kermit (which I don't see on their site anymore), Ferrari Red and Elephant were purchased to match the red and gray paint job we did in our bedroom at our old house. Wet Dog was just a great name and matched our new leather furniture. My husband bought me a Smooch 2nd (I think that is the color since that one he snuck for me so I don't know what it is called).

We also got a bunch of the chinababies on clearance and I have been using them as housewarming and hostess gifts for three years. I am not sure what the color names are but they were blue, yellow, orange and kelly green. I am sure one of the staff knows the names of those colors. People love them even if they were not up to glassybabies production standards. (It takes a glassybaby afficionado to be able to tell the difference between a true gb and a chinababy).

I rely on the names so much since it gives me a sense of what other people experience when they see the glassybaby, lit or not. I enjoy the rich colors so much - I just don't see them the same way as people with normal color vision.

My husband is great with color and I would ask him to pick me three pink-hued glassbabies to match the Smooch he snuck me at the last sale at the Greenlake location.

I think it would be crayola, comfort & calypso... I need to spread the love around the house so I can see them wherever I go! Plus, I like the three c's... obviously they are meant together. : )

My favorite way to group glassybabys by shades of one color. I'd put key lime, glacier lake and duck egg together for my trio.

I love this! I would choose:
Thistledown, Mountain Lake, and Hydrangea- because the colors remind me of the flowers I gave my grandmother for her 90th birthday in May.

Thanks for doing this!

My wife is a HUGE fan of glassybaby. She likes to change them with the seasons and for her I would choose seattle sunset, truffle and beach.

For me however, I would like fearless, root beer, and whiskey because I think they would be great in the garage. You know, to put screws and stuff in.

In the end, we decided to choose together and what we came up with is windowpane, strawberry, and midnight. Final answer.

Glassy babies are one of the unique things about Seattle that makes it great to live here. I always give them as gifts because they are beautiful and those that receive them always want more and they want to see them being made. A great enticement to come for a visit. I would love Seattle Sunset, Prom Dress, Sunshine.

After looking for 9 months we have finally found a beautiful home to start our new lives in Seattle. The trio in our family each chose a color to have in the house and the winners are: Ripe, Happiness and Kumquat.

Mine would be: sunshine, lime, and elephant- we need a little extra brightness in our little apartment (and elephant to balance it out!). Thanks- my friend Candi (up higher on the list here) told me allllll about glassbaby and this giveaway, so the word is getting out in Salt Lake City! =)

My friend (Candi) told me about glassybaby, and I have fallen in love. I love browsing the website and thinking about everything I could do with them. :) I would choose greenlake, glacier lake, and chocolate, the colors of my kitchen. It would be so much fun to plop some fresh picked flowers from garden into these and have a classy little dinner party.

My trio of glassybabies would be for my trio of boys (who says boys can't like candles?) I think it would be fun for each of them to have their own special glassybaby that they could light on their birthday, or anyday! I would choose Navel for my son Jacob, who will only wear orange clothes and would love an orange glassybaby, Peter Pan for my son Nathan to match his beautiful blue eyes, and Sunshine for my 2 year old Sam whos crazy curly blonde hair and infectious personality bring sunshine to our family!

How to choose!
as it is the height of the solstice, with all the vibrant colors of nature.. what about a winter solstice trio? Charles (winter personified), sage(hopefully some green around the corner) and celadon (hopefully some blue skies soon)

I would love to have red licorice, milk and bluebird to add glassybaby's special glow to my 4th of July table. My family will all be together to celebrate the gift of our freedom.
Thank you glassybaby for such wonderful votives, and for the link to this great website the Good Life.....I've enjoyed spending Sunday morning reading these blogs.

I love changing out my glassybabies by season so I would love to have Harvest to add to my fall collection and Kelly and Zoe to for a lovely Christmas collection!

Jennifer Nicole said...

I would choose the Marsha's Hope trio, and give the candles as a gift to my little sister. She has polycystic ovarian syndrom, and her struggle has taught me how important it is to raise awareness of ovarian health.

Thank you for the opportunity - both of you!

Gotta love a good typo.

I would choose black cat, carrot and lollypop. Every year we have a big Halloween party for our friends, neighbors and the kids. These 3 glassybabbies would be perfect for the dessert table at the party!

By the way, I just learned about glassybaby from my cousin's in Seattle on facebook! So I don't have any yet but they will definitely be on my Christmas list!

Robins egg, dream and lemon drop!

I went to a babyshower and we played a baby game. We could not say the word baby or we would have to give up one of your tickets. The host had Glassybabys on her fireplace. I said, "Are those Glassybabys" not thinking about the word "baby". I had to give up a ticket! For that I would choose Seattle Sunset, Jeffrey and Goldenrod from the Goodwill list to donate and help with the various causes.

I have a good friend for whose birthday I'm always late.... and as usual, I'm months late this year. And I'm always looking for a unique gift for her. I've found it in glassybaby! For as long as I've known her (30+ years) her favorite color has been purple. For her, I'd choose purple haze, prom dress, and lollypop. Yes, I'm lusting for a glassybaby of my own, but these would be perfect for her.
